Australian gaming machine innovator Aristocrat Leisure Limited has announced that Julie Cameron-Doe has been selected to replace the departing Toni Korsanos as its next Chief Financial Officer.
Sydney-based Aristocrat Leisure Limited stated that Cameron-Doe will assume her new position ‘as soon as all necessary regulatory pre-approvals are received’ with Korsanos set to support ‘an orderly transition’ in advance of her departure at the end of March.
Aristocrat Leisure Limited has been searching for a new Chief Executive Officer ever since Korsanos revealed in July that she was unwilling to relocate to the United States as part of an ongoing corporate reshuffle. However, Cameron-Doe, who has over two decades of senior finance experience in Europe and Australia across multiple industries, has conversely agreed to follow the firm’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Trevor Croker, in making the move to Las Vegas.
Croker called Cameron-Doe ‘a strategic and results-driven finance leader’ who had already ‘made a significant impact’ during a four-year spell leading its ‘group finance function’ and that she would now bring ‘a global and engaged perspective to her work’ at Aristocrat Leisure Limited.
“I wish to thank Toni for her dedicated service and wish her every success in her future endeavors,” read a statement (pdf) from Croker. “I also congratulate Julie on her appointment and expanded responsibilities.”
