Although January 2015 numbers were only up about 1% over January 2014 revenue, there is still cause for hope. January was the first month since August 2014 that monthly revenue was up on a year to year basis in Atlantic City. All but one of the nine surviving casinos posted a win for the month, some boasting double digits. Trump Taj Mahal was the only loser, down over 20%. The take from slots and tables was pretty much flat for the city overall, while internet revenue made a major mark on the overall numbers. The biggest winner in the brick and mortar sector was Golden Nugget with a more than 50% increase.
