To further expand its legacy of personalized customer service and player engagement, the Barona Resort And Casino in southern California has installed the Synkros casino management system from developer Konami Gaming.

Open since 2002, the casino located near San Diego is owned and operated by the Barona Group Of Capitan Grande Band Of Mission Indians and offers some 2,000 slots alongside more than 90 gaming tables. It has been at the forefront of implementing innovations designed to improve personalized customer service and will now be able to take advantage of a wide selection of Synkros tools including True-Time Bonusing, Konetic Mobile Employee App, True-Time Offers Management and the newly revamped Synkros Table Management.

“The new tools and technology we have through Synkros support Barona’s robust portfolio of customer loyalty offerings and rewards initiatives; two areas which have been key to our leadership and success in a very competitive market,” said Chuck Hickey, Slot Operations Vice-President for the Lakeside-based casino. “We had very high expectations for the Synkros installation and Konami Gaming delivered across the board. The Konami Gaming team and Synkros continue to exceed our expectations and further reinforce Barona’s long-term customer-centric values.”

The news follows last month’s decision by Las Vegas-based casino operator Golden Entertainment to utilise the Synkros innovation and its bonusing suite, single-player card solution and marketing tools at a trio of Nevada venues encompassing Gold Town Casino, Pahrump Nugget Hotel And Casino and Lakeside Hotel And Casino.

“Barona has long been recognized for strong customer loyalty and so truly it’s a pleasure to work alongside it in making these new Synkros benefits a tangible reality for patrons,” said Scott Richards, Systems Sales Director for Konami Gaming. “[There is] an extraordinary team at Barona and this year’s Synkros launch marks an important moment in our continued partnership.”
