Maltese iGaming solutions developer, Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) Incorporated, has announced the signing of a deal that is to see the online casino and sportsbetting site at BetFred.com become the latest to employ its GiG Comply monitoring service.
Headquartered in the Valetta suburb of St Julian’s, the innovator used an official Wednesday press release to describe its GiG Comply advance as ‘a web service technology’ that has been designed to help iGaming sites enhance their compliance rates ‘by monitoring third-party marketing activities.’
Advanced assessment:
GiG Incorporated stated that the ‘marketing compliance screening tool’ will now also be able to serve as ‘an automatic site-scanning solution’ for affiliates of Gibraltar and United Kingdom-licensed BetFred.com so that these may readily evaluate their advertising efforts to ensure that the domain ‘is not advertised in a non-compliant manner nor on non-compliant sites’.
Increased instruction:
Richard Brown, Chief Executive Officer for GiG Inc., used the press release to declare that his firm premiered GiG Comply following the passage in several jurisdictions of ‘heightened advertising regulations’ that now require online casino and sportsbetting firms ‘to ensure responsible marketing practices.’
Read a statement from Brown…
“We are delighted to have partnered our technology with tier-one operator BetFred.com. It’s a clear sign that BetFred.com is continuing to take affiliate compliance seriously and we are proud to be contributing to its efforts.”
Partner participation:
For her part, Adele Farrell, Compliance Director for BetFred, proclaimed that her site is intent on ensuring ‘that our affiliate partners are working in a responsible and compliant way’ and decided to employ GiG Comply after determining that the innovation was ‘the most effective and efficient way for us to monitor the content they are publishing for our brand.’
Farrell’s statement read…
“Protecting players and abiding by regulations has never been so important, so we are happy to be working with GiG Comply.”
