BetMGM, a flagship New Jersey-based sports wagering and online gaming operator, has revealed the continuation of its strategic alliance deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Terms of the agreement:
According to the deal, BetMGM will proceed to be the team’s official sports wagering partner. The multi-year expansion involves the addition of BetMGM viewing parties and VIP fan experiences, increased market quota and risen field signage at the Wells Fargo Center. Relatedly, commenting on the extension of the partnership, CFO at BetMGM, Matt Prevost, said: “This extension allows us to further enhance the gameday experience for fans, in the arena and at home. We look forward to continuing our rewarding relationship with the 76ers this season and beyond.”
During the 2023-24 regular season, the aforementioned operator will select VIP perks for fans, involving pre-game runarounds court side access and premium game seating. In addition, BetMGM clients in New Jersey and Pennsylvania will have exclusive access to a 50% live odds boost token throughout 76ers games. Also, commenting on the partnership extension, CFO at 76ers, Katie O’Reilly, commented: “We’re joining forces again with BetMGM to promote another opportunity for fans to embrace competition, just in time for the new season. We are thrilled to build on our continued success here in the Philadelphia market and offer our unique experiences for BetMGM customers and 76ers fans alike.”
Furthermore, the signage from BetMGM will be involved throughout the arena on the video board, grandstand and court side LEDs. Its content will also be involved in the email promotions and social campaigns by 76ers.
Official away game host of the 76ers:
The formal away game host of the 76ers will proceed to be MGM Resorts’ Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa located in the Atlantic City region. In addition, it will organize VIP viewing parties for specifically invited customers, involving appearances of the merchandise giveaways, 76ers alumni and more.
In this regard, Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of MGM Resorts’ Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Travis Lunn, stated according to the official press release: “It will be great to welcome 76ers fans back to our BetMGM Sports Lounge this season. We’re committed to offering guests an entertaining and responsible gaming experience.”
Responsible gambling stays a primary focus of BetMGM:
Since BetMGM continues to extend into more regulated markets, teaching responsible gambling stays a primary focus. The company is pleased to offer the necessary resources to help customers gamble responsibly, involving GameSense, an industry-leading program, created and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. Via integration within BetMGM’s desktop and mobile platforms, players may get the same GameSense experience they’re used to at MGM Resorts facilities around the world. This addition also expands BetMGM’s already existing responsible gambling tools whose main role is to offer players a fun and safe digital experience.
