Further increasing its international reach, Blueprint Gaming has partnered with Betsson Group brand StarCasinò in Italy, which remains a “key market” for the European iGaming company.
Under the terms of the content agreement, the UK-based studio will make its full portfolio of games available to the online casino operator, which means that going forward players will be able to experience Megaways-themed games, as well as popular branded titles such as Rick and Morty Wubba Lubba Dub Dub, The Goonies and Ted. The latter, inspired by the 2012 Seth MacFarlane film, was originally introduced in 2017 and after being given the Megaways treatment, with 117,649 different ways of winning, was unleashed on July 30, 2020.
Strategic addition:
Commenting on the collaboration via a recent press release, Marco Strazzulla, Gaming Manager for StarCasinò, said given that Blueprint has established a reputation for developing outstanding slots for the iGaming industry, it made “strategic sense” for them to add the studio’s content to their portfolio.
“In particular, we believe the company’s range of branded games, land-based inspired content and Megaways titles will prove to be great additions. We’re thrilled this agreement has come to fruition and excited to be offering more Blueprint games to our players over the coming months.”
The Betsson Group’s Italian brand, which is one of the multiple brands it offers including Betsson, Betsafe, Nordicbet and Casinoeuro, is a leading online casino in the region, and courtesy of the tie-up has seen its already substantial offering further enhanced via Blueprint’s wildly popular slots.
Key region:
Also commenting on the commercial deal, Samuel Haggblom, Director of Key Accounts International for Blueprint Gaming, said StarCasinò is a “highly reputable brand” in Italy and they are “delighted” to have their games live within its online offering.
“In recent months we have significantly improved our international reach and made our games more accessible to players worldwide. Italy remains a key focus for Blueprint and we’re looking forward to delivering new and existing games to the likes of StarCasinò in the near future.”
Certified by the AAMS (Agenzia Dogane e Monopolio di Stato), the Gauselmann Group subsidiary is currently live with multiple top-tier operators in Italy. The latest content agreement reinforces Blueprint’s commitment to the region and its drive to increase the UK studio’s market share in what is considered one of the biggest gaming territories in Europe.
