BMM Testlabs reportedly said in the Wednesday press release that the multi-year strategic alliance will through the sharing of its expertise on regulatory and gaming issues, “specific to the test lab space,” provide value to the AGA and its members.
The gaming certification lab is the longest established and most experienced, having provided regulatory compliance and professional technical services to the gaming industry since 1981. BMM serves over 440 jurisdictions and employs 325 people in 13 locations around the world.
A champion for the U.S. gaming industry, the AGA along with Reed Exhibition is an organizer of G2E Asia, a conference and trade show for the Asian gaming entertainment industry that takes place every year in Macau. This year’s G2E Asia takes place May 15-17 at the Venetian Macau.
In Wednesday’s news release, BMM Testlabs’ global president and chief executive, Martin Storm, said, “BMM is very pleased to partner with the AGA to help prioritise and drive an efficient regulatory reform process.
“It’s a significant reflection on our 36-plus years of dedication to integrity, innovation and quality within the global gaming industry,” added Storm.
BMM stated that the benefits of the newly formed partnership will “span from a co-piloted effort to drive regulatory reform, to joint research and white papers, educational forums and BMM’s participation in AGA committees and events.”
It is also understood that effective this month, BMM will join the AGA’s Board of Directors and its Public Policy Committee.
Also commenting on the partnership, President and CEO for the AGA, Geoff Freeman, said, “BMM is a trusted partner in an industry that is in constant motion and a tremendous resource for the AGA as we gain traction on issues like Sports Betting and the Next Generation Gaming Policy.
“BMM’s commitment to the principles of the AGA and its history as a renowned testing lab will benefit our members, as well as the entire gaming industry,” added Freeman.
