Global iGaming tech and content provider Bragg Gaming Group announced this week that it has teamed up with 888casino in Ontario. Via a content distribution agreement, the two will offer services in the newly regulated market. The company received its supplier license via the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario last month in anticipation of the market launch.
Details of the Agreement
The agreement between Bragg Gaming Group and 888casino is one of several in Ontario as the new online casino and sports betting market went live on April 4. As part of the deal, games from the exclusive portfolio of Bragg will be made available including Egyptian Magic. The newly released game was created by Atomic Slot Lab, an in-house studio of the company.
Bragg Chief Commercial Officer Chris Looney commented on the new deal by stating: “We work closely with 888casino in a host of markets, and we are pleased to now be able to do so in our home market too, which provides a significant opportunity for continued growth
“Our team has done a fantastic job to build on our relationship with 888casino in several other global markets to secure this agreement for Ontario. The team at 888casino has a well-known global profile and offers a market-leading platform. We are very pleased to support their Ontario market launch efforts.”
After earning its supplier license last month, Bragg started working with regulators in Ontario to make sure that its technology and content were in compliance with local regulations. Now that the market is fully operational, Bragg is excited to help operators with gaming content from its full suite of products.
VP B2C Casino at 888, Talya Benyamini commented on the launch in Ontario, stating 888 is excited to be working with Bragg again, this time focusing on its domestic market. 888casino sees Ontario as a long-term growth opportunity and having the content from Bragg gives the company an added boost.
Supplier License Approval in the Bahamas
Bragg has been working hard to gain entry into several new markets over the past few months. Just before announcing the Ontario news, the company revealed it had been approved for a gaming supply license in the Bahamas. Bragg is now free to offer its online content and services in the country.
The Bahamas is considered a high-potential market and one that Bragg Gaming Group is excited to get started in. The company has seen significant growth within the past year, having launched services in the United Kingdom, Greece, the Czech Republic, and other areas.
