Caesars Entertainment, Inc., the largest casino-entertainment company in the U.S. and one of the world’s most diversified gaming-entertainment providers, re-opens its land-based build out in Westlake, Louisiana on December 12, 2022, after the two-year facility closure due to the pandemic and damage from Hurricane Laura.

The former Isle of Capri Lake Charles will now come ashore as Horseshoe Lake Charles, a brand-new 60,000-square-foot property featuring the legendary Horseshoe brand and offering superior gambling and entertaining experience. The resort includes 253 brand new rooms inspired by local scenery and the first Louisiana restaurant conducted by multi-Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay and the award-winning culinary line up.

Best-in-class gaming experience:

In addition to superb accommodation and recreational facilities and a wide scope of food and beverage, Horseshoe Lake Charles resort will offer best-in-class gaming experience with around 1,000 slot machines and table games, as well as Poker Room and the new Caesars Sportsbook.  The facility will open its doors to guests at noon on December 12, 2022 following the Louisiana Gaming Control Board approval.
