In central Vietnam and the firm behind the under-construction Hoiana integrated casino resort has reportedly announced that it has been granted a local casino operating license that is to remain valid until December of 2080.
According to a report from Inside Asian Gaming, the revelation from Hoi An South Development Company Limited means that the coming $4 billion development located some 21 miles south of the port city of Da Nang will be able to bring a casino to its first stage from as early as next year.
Substantial scheme:
Hoi An South Development Company Limited is a joint venture between junket operator Suncity Group Holdings Limited and Hong Kong-headquartered Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited in partnership with the local branch of global private equity firm VinaCapital Group Limited. It is now purportedly hopeful of being able to open the 407-acre first stage of its Hoiana development by the end of the first quarter of 2021 complete with multiple hotels and restaurants as well as a casino and an 18-hole golf course.
Future focus:
Alvin Chau, Chief Executive Officer for Hong Kong-listed Suncity Group Holdings Limited, reportedly told Inside Asian Gaming that Hoiana is situated in Quang Nam Province along the shores of the South China Sea and will soon be able to offer guests ‘an authentic Vietnamese experience embellished with sun, sea and sand.’
