According to Commission Chief Fong Man Chon, the CCAC (commission against corruption in Macau) is investigating the land deal in which Wynn Resorts, LTD paid a400 milllion patacas, or about 50 million USD, for the rights to the land on which Wynn Resorts hopes to build its Cotai casino resort which will be named Wynn Palace.   The funds were paid to the Chinese mainlanders for the rights but were not known to the Land Public Works and Transportation bureau at the time. According to a Bloomberg News report quoting Michael Weaver a spokesman for Wynn Resorts, there is no comment except that they have not been notified of any investigation.
