Circa Sports, the renowned sports betting venture, is expanding to Illinois. The sportsbook is available via a mobile betting app in the state.

The Illinois expansion:

This is the fourth state Circa Sports is conquering, as well as its largest. Owned by Derek Stevens, the casino developer from Las Vegas, the company set high standards for the sports betting industry.

Among other news from Illinois is also the brick-and-mortar sportsbook the company launched in collaboration with Full House Resorts, Inc., and is available in the American Place in Waukegan.

Stevens commented on the launch: “The debut of Circa Sports Illinois is a tremendous moment for our company, and we are thrilled to have worked with this great state and Full House Resorts to bring the expansion to life. There’s nothing like a Midwest sports fan, and we know our product matches up with what they are looking for in a betting experience.”

Among the biggest cheerleaders of the project is Brian Urlacher, the sports legend from Chicago, who will place his first bet on October 4 and give the fans a chance to meet him.

The new app will allow the fans to register, deposit funds, and place their bets wherever they are in the state. The advanced low-hold model available in Illinois will create the best odds, thanks to the team of the biggest professionals in the industry.

New players will be happy to hear that the limits are the same for all players and they aren’t related to the level of the player.

Land-based sportsbook:

The land-based sportsbook in the state will offer a modern betting area that features betting kiosks, physical ticket windows, as well as digital boards that show the odds in real-time. There are 36 televisions on many kinds of screens to help them decide their next step.

The sportsbook is currently placed in a temporary location in Full House Resorts while waiting for the new, permanent casino

Alex Stolyar, Chief Development Officer for Full House Resorts, Inc., said, “We are thrilled for Circa Sports to launch their best-in-class sportsbook in Illinois in partnership with our American Place Casino. The premium sportsbook gives new and existing casino customers throughout Chicagoland one more reason to visit and frequent American Place.”

According to PR Newswire, the opening celebration will be held on October 4, and all locals are invited.

Circa Sports was founded in 2019, and since then, it has become popular among a range of players. The company grew rapidly, and currently, it possesses four satellite books in Southern Nevada, a land-based sportsbook in Legends Bay Casino in Nevada, as well as mobile apps in Colorado and Iowa.

The American Place, where the Illinois casino will be placed, will be located in Waukegan’s Fountain Square district. The casino will feature about 1.600 slot machines, 100 table games, as well as a sports book.
