Philippines:  City of Dreams Manila which has already had a soft opening for the casino has announced its grand opening date for the general public as February 2nd, 2015.  The casino which will boast over 3,000 slot machines and 500 tables for baccarat and other exciting games is located only a few blocks away from the largely successful Solaire Casino Resort.   This is a major milestone for the Philippine’s “Entertainment City” a strip of land on the Manila Bay which is also home to an amusement park and the Mall of Asia (which is the largest shopping mall in Asia).   City of Dreams will host three hotels:  Hyatt City of Dreams Manila, Nobu Hotel and Crown Towers.

There are two more multi-billion dollar casino resorts already in the works for Entertainment City: Resorts World Bayshore, and Manila Bay Resort.
