The culmination of a month-long slot tournament is set to take place this Sunday, March 12th at Empire City Casino in Yonkers, New York with the $150,000 Slot Tournament Finale. 600 players will be on hand, competing for the first place prize of $100,000. The tournament will kick off at noon with players competing for just over seven hours before the winner will be crowned.

For the past month, slots players at Empire City Casino have been playing slot games in the hopes of earning enough points to secure a spot to compete in the finale of the high-stakes tournament this Sunday. 600 Empire Club Members will hit the gaming floor this weekend, taking part in sessions every 15 minutes from the 12 noon start time until 7:15 p.m. when the tournament comes to an end.

On top of the $100,000 first place prize, the nine runners up will be competing for prizes worth $1,000 to $20,000. Qualifiers of the tournament finale will also be eligible to earn $50 in free play.
