On Friday the Government Information Bureau published the English edition of the 2015 Macau Yearbook.
The 2015 English edition has 196 photographs, 609 pages and is divided into four sections including, event calendar, the government’s administrative priorities, appendices and yearly review. According to the bureau “meticulous efforts” were made to ensure that the locations and names of organizations in the edition were accurately translated in the edition.
The cost of the 2015 Yearbook is either MOP 120 or HKD 120, and is now available for purchase from the Government’s Public Information Center at Rua do Campo as well as local bookstores.
Previously the bureau said that the Portuguese, Chinese and English print editions wouldn’t be available until 2016, but they decided instead to supplement the digital edition with new video content and pictures.
The Macau Yearbook has been published annually since 2002 and is a comprehensive chronicle. It outlines details of progress achieved, major events, and changes made in Macau’s cultural, social, economic and political development throughout the year. The goal of the Yearbook is to promote Macau and provide those individuals who wish to understand and study Macau with detailed information and data.
