Are you ready to enter the Underworld? Online software developers Yggdrasil and Peter & Sons have teamed up to bring you to this treacherous place on the reels of Xibalba. The 12 demon lords of Xibalba are gathering in the Underworld and brave adventurers must join in the reel-spinning to figure out what is going on in the depths of hell.

Details of the Game

Once you load Xibalba, it might look different than you expected. The Underworld demons are very odd-looking and are standing over the grid as you spin. On the reels are unique symbols, almost appearing as if they are totems.

Spin the online slot reels and if you earn a win, watch as a cascade is triggered. Symbols that are part of the win are removed and new ones fall into place. Empty slots that fill up will add to the Growing Falls feature which helps the reels to grow as you play. The Cascades will continue to fall until you no longer earn a win.

When you land two scatters on the reels, it triggers the Gigantor feature. The position of the symbols will determine how large the synced reels will be. You earn a respin of the reels where the scatters are located. Scatters can show up as 2×2 or 3×3 in size.

If you land three scatters, then the extra spins round is triggered. You earn 15 spins and all features can occur including cascades, growing wilds, and Gigantor.

Yggdrasil Head of Product and Programs Stuart McCarthy commented on the new game by stating: “Xibalba marks another fantastic addition to our portfolio by Peter & Sons. With increasing ways to win, cascading symbols, and a lucrative bonus round, it yet again highlights the strength of the studio as a member of the YG Masters program.”

Joining Monster Blox Gigablox

The last time that Yggdrasil and Peter & Sons worked together was last November when Monster Blox Gigablox was released. The game features a fun monster theme with plenty of adventure waiting on the reels.

With this game, the slot brings the heroes to a tavern where they must figure out how to deal with the monsters invading the town. The slot includes the Gigablox mechanic, where a giant symbol can land on each spin, from 2×2 to 6×6 in size!

The slot also includes monster respins, plus random wilds, to mix up the gameplay. Both of these new titles by the developers showcase what each company is capable of and provides even more fun entertainment for slot fans based around the world.
