Leading provider of video-streamed live dealer gaming solutions, Evolution Gaming (STO: EVO), recently announced that Sweden’s largest gaming operator, Svenska Spel, has chosen it to supply a complete Live Casino solution for what is a re-regulating Swedish market.

Per the press release (pdf), Evolution has communicated that on January 1, 2019, when Sweden’s new gambling law is due to take effect, the new Svenska Spel Live Casino service from Evolution will go live. At that time, the Rīga-headquartered developer’s entire portfolio of live games will be available to Svenska Spel. To be included are exclusive poker variants along with exclusive side bets.

The state-owned firm Svenska Spel includes such top brands as Triss, Lotto, Oddset, Casino Cosmopol, Stryktipset and Vegas. The company’s mandate centers on customer protection and providing attractive games in a manner that is responsible.

Commenting on the new partnership, Product Manager for Svenska Spel Sport & Casino, Fredrik Wastenson, said, “We naturally carried out a thorough market review with regard to our choice of Live Casino partner. We are confident that Evolution Gaming offers the very best solution for Svenska Spel and its current and future players. Evolution Gaming also recently announced a new agreement with Swedish horse racing totalizator board, AB Trav och Galopp (ATG), to supply the Stockholm-headquartered company with content also to begin on the 1st of January when Sweden‘s newly created gambling law goes into effect.
