Live online casino gaming solutions provider Evolution Gaming Group (STO: EVO) has been voted Casino Content Supplier of the Year at this year’s EGR Nordics Awards.
Celebrating the most innovative and successful online gaming companies operating in the Nordic region, the EGR Nordics Awards 2018 was held in St. George’s Bay, Malta at the Corinthia Hotel on January 18.
Competing against contenders from all gaming verticals, Evolution beat out nine other companies that were shortlisted to win the prestigious award.
Evolution Head of Key Account Management, Marcus Huber, commented after the award presentation, saying: “It has been another remarkable year at Evolution with unprecedented levels of innovation and product rollout. This award means a lot to us as many of our licensees have a strong presence in the Nordics, which we continually support with our focus on customer optimisation and localisation to provide them with a unique player experience for their customers,” according to the press release.
Huber went on to say: Huber added: “These awards recognise the operators and service providers that have stood out over the past 12 months in what is an extremely competitive market. For us to win the overall Casino Content Supplier of the Year category against extremely tough competition from the whole Casino market is a huge honour. It recognises that Evolution offers the most remarkably rich and diverse portfolio of content solutions — including many exclusive titles — for both pure online operators and for land-based casinos too.”
Last year, the Latvia-based company also beat out nine short listed companies when it took home Digital Product of the Year at the 2017 Global Gaming Awards (G2E) for its Dream Catcher Lucky Wheel.
