The Hard Rock Hotel And Casino in Las Vegas has begun construction on an extension project that will see the iconic venue add nearly 18,000 sq ft of meeting and convention space.

Due to be completed by the winter, the enlargement will also see the venue add an additional 5,000 sq ft of back-of-house storage and office space as well as new exterior signage and bring its total meeting and convention area to nearly 110,000 sq ft.

Upon completion of the extension, the Nevada venue declared that it will be able to offer a “broad selection of facilities to satisfy any company’s needs from traditional conference space to unique venues” while high-tech amenities are to include wi-fi, Cat-5 cabling and a program that is to allow exhibitors to create customizable sound, light, mood and banquet packages.

Although the Hard Rock Hotel And Casino has not disclosed the cost of the project, it did state that the finished extension will blend the venue’s “stylish cutting-edge lifestyle with a group experience that is sure to appeal to all business travelers”.
