A breakfast “Meet & Greet” will showcase various members of Team PokerStars Pro, including Jason Somerville, Vanessa Selbst, Chris Moneymaker, Barry Greenstein, Jen Shahade, and Liv Boeree.

Following the meet and greet will be the main event, the Run It Up Resorts Rumble, which will be hosted by Somerville and will feature a $30 buy-in no-limit hold’em event on PokerStarsNJ.com and only available for those on-site at Resorts. For those who want to get in on the celebration all across the state on PokerStarsNJ.com. there will be a New Jersey-wide $10 buy-in tournament. One of the brand’s signature PokerStars VIP Club Live events will be featured on Saturday night and will include beachside drinks, and food and entertainment at The Landshark Bar & Grille Restaurant. There will also be various activities and games during the event with Team Pros, including a chess simulation with Jennifer Shahade.

Eric Hollreiser, Vice President of Corporate Communications for Amaya, said, “We’re very proud of PokerStars’ initial success in New Jersey and looking forward to seeing our fans in person as we celebrate at Resorts,” according to pokerstars.com. He said, “Bringing JCarver and his band of merry poker fans to New Jersey will create even more excitement and interest in the New Jersey online gaming market.”

Throughout the weekend, Somerville will be streaming live on Twitch, and will take part in giveaways with fellow Team Pros, as well as the Q & A games. Somerville said, “I’m incredibly excited to host our first one-day Run it Up festival on the east coast with two great partners in PokerStars and Resorts,” said Jason Somerville. The Run It Up host added, “It’s been so much fun playing and streaming on PokerStars New Jersey this month and I can’t wait to hang out with all of our awesome Run it Up fans in person. It’ll totally be worth putting on pants.”

Players wishing to attend the event can do so by either winning a ticket in advance in a special “Run It Up: Resorts with VIP Club Live” freeroll taking place on May 1, or by simply purchasing a ticket for $10. Money raised from the ticket sales is going to Autism Speaks. A ticket entitles guests to a wristband which will get them into all the daytime activities, as well as the evening’s VIP Club party.
