A new bingo experience awaits visitors of the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut. The property celebrated the opening of its new High Stakes Bingo Hall yesterday, providing quality gaming action and expanded prize pools for players.
The opening day saw a crowd of people lined up to enter well before the casino opened the property. Everyone wanted to get a seat and take part in the first game in the new venue.
Details of the High Stakes Bingo Hall
Foxwoods is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and the new High Stakes Bingo Hall installation is part of that celebration. The goal is to offer even more to its guests, and the Connecticut bingo property is one way the operator is doing that.
Bingo is now offered five days a week at the facility, with two sessions offered each day. Players can purchase an entry into each session for $15 or $25. Prizes offered during each session can reach $10,000 to $15,000.
President and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino, Jason Guyot, commented on the bingo hall opening. He stated that Foxwoods could not be more excited to offer the new bingo space. The property is 2,200 square feet in size and cost $7 million to complete. The operator has been working on the venue for about a year.
Players can visit the High Stakes Bingo Hall at 10:30 am for the first gaming session and 6:30 pm for the second. Players must be 18 years of older to take part.
Expansion Continues
Foxwoods Casino Resort has been working on several new projects as part of its expansion plans during its 30th anniversary. Renovations and updates continue, with the plans revealed earlier this year. A new VIP Canopy Players’ Lounge will open this month, along with new dining options.
Players will be able to visit Sushi by Bou soon and enjoy the Golden Dragon restaurant with a completely new design. The casino will also offer exclusive parking to reward members along with upgraded benefits in the future. This is just a small portion of the upgrades the operator offers its guests.
Next year, Foxwoods will welcome Great Wolf Lodge at Mashantucket. This property will feature an indoor water park and plenty of family-friendly entertainment options. The goal is to create a year-round getaway for families in the Northeast. Great Wolf Lodge already offers popular spots across the United States, including in Tennessee and Georgia. The exact opening date remains unknown, though the property should be operational in two years.
