Bronco Billy’s Casino and Hotel has been in operation in Cripple Creek for over two decades and is known as part of the second largest operating group of gaming venues in the area. It was announced on Friday that Full House Resorts Inc. of Las Vegas has completed the purchase of Bronco Billy’s from Pioneer Group Inc. for $30 million.
The management team of the casino will remain, according to a news release by Full House, along with each of the 330 employees. It was back in September that Full House agreed to purchase Bronco Billy’s. Full House has now acquired three casinos which has more than 800 slot and video poker machines along with blackjack, craps, poker and roulette. The acquisition also includes a hotel with 24 guest rooms, four restaurants offering casual dining, a steakhouse and outdoor amphitheater.
With the deal, Full House will also have the rights of ownership to the remaining portion of the city block where Bronco Billy’s is located, including Billy’s and Buffalo Billy’s casinos. Structures as well as adjoining land are included. Daniel Lee, the CEO of Full House, stated in a press release that Bronco Billy’s is a well-run and well-maintained establishment, being a consistent leader within the stable market. Full House believes that Bronco Billy’s and the market offer the potential for growth.
On top of Bronco Billy’s, Full House also owns casinos in Mississippi, Indiana and two in Nevada. Bronco Billy’s was one of the first casinos to open in Cripple Creek when gaming was deemed legal in the area back in October of 1991.
