Real-money and skill-based mobile and land-based games publisher Gamblit Gaming has announced that it will partner with developer Phosphor Games to exhibit a “gamblified” version of The Brookhaven Experiment first-person zombie-themed shooter title at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo (G2E).

Gamblit Gaming stated that it intends to present its version of The Brookhaven Experiment via its new Virtual Reality Cube gaming platform with players able to wager on their chances of success as they battle a range of monsters. In addition, the Los Angeles-based firm declared that the innovative virtual reality title will invite spectators to watch and bet on a range of aspects including performance and health levels via a tablet computer.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Phosphor Games to bring this first of its kind virtual reality gambling experience to life,” said Darion Lowenstein, Chief Marketing Officer for Gamblit Gaming. “The Brookhaven Experiment is not only the most petrifying, heart stopping and realistic experience I’ve had in virtual reality, but it truly embodies the concept of virtual reality. Phosphor Games is a company that pushes the boundaries of innovation and we are excited to be revolutionizing the casino floor with it in an all-new wagering experience and, judging from everyone who has played it, a very memorable one for players and their friends.”

G2E is set to take place from September 27 to 29 at the Sands Expo And Convention Center in Las Vegas and Gamblit Gaming proclaimed that attendees will be able to experience the latest version of The Brookhaven Experiment using the HTC Vive virtual reality headset, which features “room-scale virtual reality and true-to-life interactions”, while its Virtual Reality Cube comes complete with fog, an in-floor subwoofer, spatial audio and external monitors that offer a view of the action as seen by the players.

“With The Brookhaven Experiment we wanted to be on the forefront of the video game industry as it stepped into the new world of virtual reality and now with this fantastic partnership with Gamblit Gaming we have the opportunity to be on the forefront of the transformation of the real-money gaming industry as well,” said Justin Corcoran, Chief Executive Officer for Chicago-based Phosphor Games. “Gamblit Gaming is the leader in this new vision for the casino floor and we could not be happier in partnering with it to have [The] Brookhaven [Experiment], [which is] already a hit at home and in arcades, be a hit for the Virtual Reality Cube as well.”
