Enterprise-level business-to-business online gaming software developer and supplier GAN has signed a deal that will see it utilize its proprietary Simulated Gaming platform to launch a social casino experience for the Chickasaw Nation.
The Chickasaw Nation is twelfth-largest federally-recognized tribe in the United States and operates nearly 20,000 electronic gaming machines at 20 regional casinos in Oklahoma including the WinStar World Casino And Resort, the Riverwind Casino and the Treasure Valley Casino.
“Later this year we will be truly privileged to bring online the Native American tribal nation in the United States operating one of the largest Native American gaming enterprises,” said Dermot Smurfit, Chief Executive Officer for GAN. “Chickasaw Nation’s casino properties serve the Dallas and north Texas metropolitan areas ranked by Facebook among the top-ten highest revenue cities worldwide for social casino gaming. By combining traditional casino marketing with a multi-million-dollar digital marketing commitment, we believe the Chickasaw Nation will quickly secure significant market share online in the region already well served by its land-based gaming enterprise.”
London-based GAN revealed that The Chickasaw Nation is its largest American client to date and it intends to launch a social desktop, mobile and virtual reality casino experience for the tribe via its Simulated Gaming platform featuring over 200 slot and table games encompassing poker, backgammon, gin rummy, poker dice and blackjack tournaments.
“GAN is a specialist business-to-business Internet gaming solution provider,” said Bill Lance, Commerce Secretary for the Chickasaw Nation. “We were particularly interested in this partnership because, unlike many casino equipment manufacturers that also operate competing social casinos online, GAN does not operate its own business-to-consumer social casino. The Simulated Gaming model integrates with our on-property rewards program and will serve as a vehicle to explore the fast-growing United States social casino market. The GAN model will also introduce our brands and gaming opportunities to a nationwide audience of casino game players.”
