GGPoker is currently hosting the WSOP Online Series, offering players from around the world an opportunity to compete in gold bracelet events. In total, players can compete in 54 WSOP gold bracelet events, with a nice mix of options on the schedule. Just this past weekend, the GGMasters WSOP Edition took place and surprised everyone by seeing a massive turnout and a huge increase in the guaranteed prize pool. The event was one of three to provide a gold bracelet on Sunday.

Details of the Event:

The GGMasters WSOP Edition had a buy-in of $1500, as it was a High Roller event. The field of the event consisted of 9,835 players which helped to increase the $1 million prize pool guarantee to a whopping $3,068,025. This staggering amount of money helped the first place winner earn $444,869 for winning the online poker event.

In the end, it was Seth Fischer, aka AbeFroman, who won the event. Fischer was able to defeat Arsenii “kastaban” Karmatckii in heads-up play to win his very first WSOP bracelet. On top of the bracelet and the cash, Fischer also earned a WSOP Europe Package entry.

GGPoker WSOP Online Continues:

This week, the WSOP action at GGPoker continues. Players can compete in Event #58 which is a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em 6-Handed Championship. For a lower buy-in, players can log in on the 13th to compete in Event #60. This tournament has a lower $525 buy-in and is a Bounty No Limit Hold’em 6-handed event.

Several players have earned WSOP bracelets for the first time during the series and even more are expected as GGPoker will continue host gold bracelet events through September. Players still have plenty of time to enjoy online poker from home and compete to become part of WSOP history.
