Maltese online casino solutions firm Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) Incorporated has announced that its GiG Games enterprise will be expanding its presence in the United Kingdom after receiving a license from the nation’s Gambling Commission regulator.

New games for the British market:

The St Julian’s-headquartered firm used a short Thursday press release to explain that the new authorization will enable its GiG Games vehicle to utilize its business-to-business license in order to supply new games to ‘white-label’ and external customers operating in the United Kingdom.

Complimentary licenses:

The revelation comes only a week after Oslo-listed GiG Incorporated inked a deal that is to see it provide the online casino at MetalCasino.com with a sportsbook while the innovator stated that the new authorization is set to complement its own British software and business-to-consumer licenses.

Confident of success:

Mathias Larsson, Managing Director GiG Games declared that he was ‘thrilled’ to have received Gambling Commission approval ‘so early in our journey’ before explaining that his firm is currently working through the certification process in several other jurisdictions including New Jersey, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Colombia and Spain.

Larsson’s statement read…

“Regulated markets are the future of our industry and it is part of our core strategy to be present in every regulated market. The United Kingdom market is one of the most competitive in Europe. With our partnership with Jade Rabbit, we have the expertise to build games that will be built primarily for the United Kingdom market and we are confident our games will be successful. We have seen the market welcome our first game in a positive way.”
