As part of its most recent GiGsters Connect employee conference, online gambling solutions innovator Gaming Innovation Group Incorporated revealed that attendees were treated to a talk from influential American technology entrepreneur Steve Wozniak.
Gaming Innovation Group Incorporated stated that its two-day GiGsters Connect event was held at the InterContinental Arena Conference Centre in Malta from Tuesday as part of celebrations to mark its fifth birthday. The firm detailed that attendees included some 650 of its own employees from as far afield as Denmark, Norway and Spain alongside approximately 500 guests encompassing university students and professors as well as members of the local technology community.
Malta-headquartered Gaming Innovation Group Incorporated declared that 67-year-old Wozniak, who helped establish computer giant Apple Incorporated in the 1970s following a stint with prominent video games developer Atari Incorporated, entered its GiGsters Connect event on a Segway before giving a talk and taking questions from the audience in the company of its own Chief Executive Officer, Robin Reed.
Gaming Innovation Group Incorporated explained that Wozniak’s talk had included ‘a wealth of anecdotes’ that had the audience ‘glued to his every word’ while its employees at GiGsters Connect were subsequently treated to a more in-depth knowledge session alongside hackathons, parties and further learning opportunities.
“I am really grateful to Gaming Innovation Group Incorporated for this wonderful opportunity of a lifetime,” read a statement from Chris Demicoli, a solutions architect for Gaming Innovation Group Incorporated. “I got to meet one of my role models, talk to him and have him sign my books and my shirt. Today was a good day.”
Kelly Kehn, co-founder of the industry-driven All-In Diversity initiative, which works to formulate effective inclusion and equality strategies for the iGaming industry, described the GiGsters Connect event as ‘inspiring and engaging’ before proclaiming that Gaming Innovation Group Incorporated was a recruiting trendsetter for ‘opening up [its] awesomeness and sharing it with all of us’.
