The 25th anniversary of the Gila River Hotels & Casinos is coming up and to celebrate, a special event will be hosted on April 25th involving the Guinness Book of World Records. What better way to celebrate a major milestone than to try and break not one, but two world records? The Gila River Casino in Lone Butte will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest bingo card and the largest set of bingo balls. The goal is to have a 75 four-foot size bingo balls and a bingo card that is 20 feet by 20 feet!

World Record Attempt:

On Thursday morning, the casino will have the bingo card and balls on display, with a representative on hand from the Guinness World Records to view the items. The Lone Butte location has long been home to the best bingo in Arizona for many years, with bingo fans invited to attend the special event.

The record-breaking attempt will have to take place in the parking lot of the venue, as there are not many spots on site that can house the larger-than-life bingo items! Guests onsite during the event that are 21 years of age or older can take part in playing a bingo game with the large set. Prizes will be offered including $2,500 in bonus play to all three Gila River Casinos.

According to Azbigmedia.com…

CEO of Gila, Kenneth Manuel, commented on the event by stating: “We wanted to celebrate our 25th anniversary by taking one of the things we are known best for like bingo and blow it up in a huge way to mark this important milestone. We are so proud of all that we’ve accomplished in the community since we’ve opened, and we are excited to celebrate with our valued guests and partners.”

A Gaming Staple:

The casino has chosen to try and break a record involving bingo as the game has been a staple at the venue since it opened twenty-five years ago. The venue always provided quality bingo games including daily options and an after dark version of the game. Players know the venue is home to excellent bingo games and are sure to come out and support the upcoming Guinness World Record breaking attempt involving the game!
