In honor of the 50th birthday of its Caesars Palace hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Caesars Entertainment has announced that it will be holding a series of special events and promotions being dubbed as the Summer Of Caesars.
Set to begin from June 17 and continuing daily through August 5, which is the actual anniversary date of the venue’s inauguration in 1966, the Summer Of Caesars will encompass giveaways, sweepstakes and room packages while a fireworks show featuring live music from an as yet unnamed performer is to light up the night sky on July 3.
“Unlike other famed Strip properties that have now been torn down and swept away, Caesars Palace is more relevant than ever,” said Mark Frissora, President and Chief Executive Officer for Caesars Entertainment, which also operates the nearby Paris Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort And Casino. “With our portfolio of entertainment superstars and celebrity chefs, the recent room enhancements and new restaurant offerings, Caesars Palace is well poised for the next 50 years. We are excited to show our gratitude and share our 50th anniversary celebration with our guests, partners, employees and community.”
Caesars Entertainment revealed that the birthday celebrations will extend to the placing of interactive “selfie” stations throughout the Nevada property while historical walking tours are also due to be offered.
