American casino operator Golden Entertainment has announced the completion of an extensive renovation project for its Rocky Gap Casino Resort near Cumberland, Maryland, that included an expansion of its table games area.

Las Vegas-based Golden Entertainment operates four casino resorts in the United States and stated that the upgrade to Rocky Gap Casino Resort has seen roulette, three-card poker and an additional blackjack table moved onto its casino floor with this new-look area moreover now featuring views of nearby Lake Habeeb.

Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the 3,000-acre Rocky Gap State Park, the casino has also added an outside smoking terrace just off its main floor complete with over 20 slot and video poker machines.

Golden Entertainment revealed that the makeover for the 631-slot casino furthermore encompassed the addition of 168 parking spaces complete with a trio of Tesla electric charging stations while its back area now offers its Signatures Bar And Grill complete with fire pits, a volleyball court and an area for bocce ball.

“The improvements we’ve made and will continue to make emphasize our commitment in providing guests at Rocky Gap Casino Resort with an overall rewarding gaming and entertainment experience,” read a statement from Skylar Dice, General Manager for Rocky Gap Casino Resort. “We are very proud of our resort and our offerings and are confident these upgrades will provide new experiences to both our regular and first-time guests.”

As if all of this wasn’t enough, Golden Entertainment has additionally launched a redesigned logo for Rocky Gap Casino Resort while introducing a series of new membership benefits for its Rewards Club loyalty program. Patrons can now earn redeemable points on casino play as well as food, spa and golf purchases and take advantage of floor-wide instant bonuses alongside VIP parking and car detailing services.

“Our Rocky Gap Casino Resort hotel initiative is continuing with the remodeling of several rooms and suites within the hotel,” read a statement from Blake Sartini, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for Golden Entertainment. “The goal remains to get our test rooms remodeled, give the final approval to the design and amenity packages and then provide a detailed phased hotel remodel program going forward.”
