The Golden Gate Hotel & Casino of Las Vegas now has a new offering for visitors. Derek Stevens, a developer and casino owner, has launched Circa Sports inside the property, a brand-new sports betting venue. The opening of Circa Sports included a $1.5 million pro football contest along with the launch of a mobile application and the placing of the ceremonial first wager.

What Is Circa Sports?

Circa will provide top quality customer support to visitors, appealing to beginner bettors as well as veterans. The mobile app launched as well, offering players betting convenience. Daily games are offered via the app along with events and futures.

Many of the top bookmakers in Las Vegas were invited by Stevens to attend the opening and to place the first official bets during opening day. For players, the new sports betting venue is offering the Circa Sports Million Pro Football Contest. Players are competing for $1.5 million prizes, including $1 million for first place!

According to a press release…

Stevens commented on the new venue by stating: “The bell has rung, and we are thrilled to be taking bets of all kinds with Circa Sports. We intend to bring that old-school Las Vegas vibe to the floor, so there was no better place to bring this to life than in Las Vegas’ most historic hotel, Golden Gate.”

Designed Space:

MOSER Architecture Studio designed the new space, a sportsbook that is 1,297 square feet in size. The sportsbook includes a video wall and LED boards that show the betting odds. There are two betting kiosks that can be used for wagering.

On the 19th of June, the facility will be launching a satellite program with the D Las Vegas, a sister property of Circa.

Resort and Casino:

The owner is quite busy in Las Vegas. He not only has just opened the sports book at the Golden Gate but he is also working on a new casino in the downtown area. Plans for the Circa Resort and Casino were first announced in January of this year. The property will be 1.25 million square feet in size and have a 777 guest room hotel that will be 44 stories high.

Stevens has plans to offer sports betting at this venue as well. A multi-level stadium style sports book will be offered at the venue, set to be opened in December 2020.
