Golden Nugget Atlantic City in New Jersey is now live on the NYX Open Platform System. NYX Interactive offers gaming content to regulated markets around the world with content deployed at the majority of Atlantic City’s online casinos. A third of the online casinos there have decided to use the NYX platform to power their entire online casino offerings, making it the core provider to a city with its gambling industry in transition.

“We have worked hard to become the trusted partner in the New Jersey market for digital gaming. Our OPS is one of the world’s most flexible and open platforms in the gaming industry enabling our gaming operators the freedom to deliver best-of-breed experiences to their players. In today’s competitive market, consumers of digital content demand unique and differentiated experiences and OPS is now the platform of choice for digital gaming in the US.” said Matt Davey, CEO of NYX Gaming Group.

NYX Gaming Group was recently granted a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement allowing them to integrate and launch while a full license is pending. Golden Nugget’s roll out of the first parcel of gaming content on the robust system used in hundred of online casinos around the world will be followed by more games in the near future.

NextGen Gaming, a legendary developer and now wholly owned subsidiary of NYX have also released 19 new games over their Open Gaming System platform. Included in that release were popular titles such as Gorilla Go Wild and Merlin’s Millions.

As NYX only operates in regulated markets they are able to deliver premium content from market leaders such as NextGen, NetEnt, and High5. Many IGT slots players may have seen in Atlantic City casinos were actually developed by High5 and licensed to IGT.

Davey added, “Through a proactive working relationship with the DGE and Golden Nugget’s experienced iGaming team we have delivered an offering that brings a compelling entertainment experience within the rapidly emerging New Jersey gaming market.”

All U.S. residents are allowed to play at Atlantic City’s online casinos but must be physically located within the borders of New Jersey to log in and gamble for real money.
