Austrian developer and supplier of iGaming solutions, Greentube, has taken its portfolio live with Svenska Spel Sport & Casino further strengthening its position in the regulated Swedish market.
The Novomatic Interactive division has made good on its pledge to increase its European footprint this year, having signed a series of commercial deals over the past few months.
“The addition of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino as a key partner is pivotal to our localised market strategy in Sweden.”
Under the terms of the deal, the Vienna-headquartered supplier‘s international land-based classics that have been configured for online play are now available to Sweden’s leading lottery, betting and casino gaming operator.
Included in the integration are all of Greentube’s Swedish-certified games such as Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe and the widely popular Egyptian-themed title, Book of Ra Deluxe.
Greentube UK commercial director David Bolas used an official press release to comment on the recent deal…
“The addition of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino as a key partner is pivotal to our localised market strategy in Sweden. We believe Greentube content will greatly enhance the portfolio already available to Svenska Spel Sport & Casino players.”
For its part, Svenska Spel Sport and Casino vice president of casino product, Jonas Nygren, said…
“Greentube has really strong titles in their portfolio that will strengthen our mix of already published games. Our customer base has been extremely engaged with their catalogue of games and we look forward to a longstanding partnership moving forward.”
Private gambling operators are now able to apply for licenses to offer commercial gambling and betting to consumers in Sweden thanks to a new Swedish Gambling Act (the Act) which came into force on January 1, 2019, and completely overhauled the legislative framework in the Scandinavian nation regarding gaming and betting.
Since that time, state-run operator has stayed on top of the competitive market, defending its leading position against a spate of new contenders. The new partnership will, according to the press release, provide extensive opportunities for Greentube, most notably in attracting new audiences and cementing the firm’s foothold in the European country.
As mentioned, the brand has made quick business of growing its presence in Europe, in the past few months having inked similar commercial deals in October with Hattrick Sports Group Ltd. via its PSK.hr (Prva Sportska Kladionica) online domain in Croatia, and entering the Swiss market with Grand Casino Baden’s online gaming website jackpots.ch, among others.
Real Reveal series:
The developer and supplier also recently launched the first-ever episode of its Reel Reveal series, providing some helpful tips on how to spin the reels of its latest, action-packed slot title, Diamond Link: Mighty Elephant. The new video series explains how lucky winners may be able to earn a jackpot of 1000x their bet by collecting “those all-important diamonds.”
