Only a week after entering the Polish iGaming market and Austrian online casino games developer Greentube has now returned to announce the signing of a deal that is to see it purchase rival Dutch innovator Eurocoin Interactive.
The Vienna-headquartered firm used an official Monday press release to detail that the acquisition is set to become effective from later this month and immediately give it a prominent position within the regulated Dutch iGaming market, which is expecting to go live from the first day of October.
New name:
Greentube is a subsidiary of Austrian gambling machines giant Novomatic AG and explained that the agreement will also involve the Waalwijk-based entity being rebranded as Greentube Netherlands to promptly provide it with a large range of Dutch-facing online video slot games including the five-reel Big Runner, Action Joker and Wild Works innovations. The firm moreover divulged that these titles are to be integrated into its already extensive business-to-business offering so as to allow it to better exploit the many iGaming possibilities that are now certain to emerge from the Netherlands.
Domestic distinction:
Michael Bauer serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Greentube and he used the press release to declare that his firm decided to acquire Eurocoin Interactive due to its ‘strong portfolio of games that are known to local players’. He furthermore proclaimed that these titles represent ‘a strong line-up of classic Dutch games’ and will be complemented from October by the addition of his company’s own ‘blue-chip’ innovations.

Speedy shift:
For his part and Reg Das from Eurocoin Interactive pronounced that the acquisition is due to allow Greentube to ‘hit the ground running’ by exploiting his firm’s catalog of ‘high-quality and locally-tailored games’. He additionally disclosed that the deal will simultaneously further enhance his own company’s ‘impressive portfolio’ of iGaming entertainment, which is destined to be ‘unsurpassed in the Netherlands when the regulated market opens for business later this year.’
