Hard Rock International is preparing to host a press conference on April 18th to reveal the opening date for their new Atlantic City casino, along with details on upcoming musical guests. The company has been hard at work trying to reach a summer opening and in just a few days, we will know exactly when the new venue will be operational.

According to the Press of Atlantic City, the press conference will take place at 11 a.m. at the Tanger Outlets located on 101 N. Michigan Avenue. At this time, the company will reveal when the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will open as well as announce the entertainment lineup. Hard Rock International has promised that the venue will not only offer gaming, but quality musical entertainment as well.

Two additional press conferences will be hosted by Hard Rock on the same day, one at the company’s New York City location and the other at Hard Rock Cafe Philadelphia, both set to reveal the resorts opening date.

Hard Rock International acquired the former Trump Taj Mahal in May of 2017 from Carl Icahn for $50 million, a steal compared to the $1.2 billion spent by Donald Trump to create the casino resort back in 1990. Since the acquisition, Hard Rock has worked on removing the Taj Mahal theming at the property and transforming the existing space into its signature rock ‘n’ roll theme.

Once opened, players visiting the new Atlantic City casino will find the venue offers a rock-chic interior with 125 table games and 2,200 slot machines. In addition to gaming amenities, the casino will provide an entertainment zone, where the announced lineup will perform. Restaurants will also be located on-site with fine dining and casual options.
