California now features its first-ever Las Vegas-style integrated casino resort following yesterday’s opening by the federally-recognized Estom Yumeka Maidu Tribe of Enterprise Rancheria of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain.

Being run via a partnership with prominent American casino firm Hard Rock International, the new Yuba County facility boasts a 200-room hotel, six restaurants, meeting spaces and a fitness center alongside a 150,000 sq ft casino hosting a selection of 57 gaming tables as well as over 1,580 slots.

Extensive entertainment:

The eight-story Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain is located about 25 miles north of Sacramento and moreover features an outdoor pool and deck area, The Rock Shop-branded souvenir outlet and a coffee shop while its casino-facing The Center Bar allows patrons to enjoy a vast array of wines, spirits, cocktails and craft beers.

Celebratory concert:

Jon Lucas, Chief Operating Officer for Hard Rock International, used an official press release to declare that the $440 million property has become his firm’s twelfth American gaming venue with over 70% of its staff coming from the local area. His firm is an enterprise of the Seminole Tribe of Florida and is due to celebrate this California opening by hosting a concert at the nearby Toyota Amphitheatre on Saturday featuring seminal British rock quintet Def Leppard.

Read a statement from Lucas…

“We are extremely excited that Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain is able to open its doors to locals, travelers and lovers of the Hard Rock brand. The development of the property has been such an amazing endeavor and we could not have done it without the incredible partnership between the [Estom Yumeka Maidu Tribe of] Enterprise Rancheria and the Seminole Tribe of Florida.”

Pioneering partnership:

For her part, Glenda Nelson, Chair for the Estom Yumeka Maidu Tribe of Enterprise Rancheria, used the press release to proclaim that the hotel at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain ‘entices guests with an array of signature brand offerings and amenities’ such as the Sound of Your Stay music program while its casino is to regularly offer patrons the chance to compete for progressive slot jackpots worth well over $10,000.

Nelson’s statement read…

“This project is the first of its kind with two tribes joining together to bring this integrated resort to life. We are proud of our partnership with Hard Rock International and the Seminole Tribe of Florida and we are enthusiastic to continue collaborating to provide guests with an unparalleled entertainment destination experience.”
