In a press release on Friday, Hard Rock announced a new venue in California is set to launch before Halloween. The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain will be ready for business by October 30th. The large entertainment venue will officially open just in time for the holiday, located next to the Toyota Amphitheatre in Wheatland, California.

Opening Details:

When the property opens, operations will kick off with a bang. Def Leopard, the legendary rock band, will be the headliner of the grand opening celebration concert. The concert will take place at the Toyota Amphitheatre on November 2nd. Visitors can begin to purchase tickets for the concert on September 13th.

The press release revealed a few amenities for the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sacramento at Fire Mountain: “The property will be Hard Rock’s first Vegas-style casino in California and will offer a hotel with multiple suite options, a large gaming facility with more than 1,800 slot machine and table game positions, along with an outdoor pool and deck area, large meeting space and a vast selection of bars and restaurants.”

The new casino came to fruition via a joint partnership involving the Enterprise Rancheria Indian tribe and the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The Seminole Tribe is the owner of Hard Rock International, operating two of the brands 11 casinos.

Ready to Begin:

The Fire Mountain project has been ongoing for quite some time, with a topping off ceremony held in February. In August, the hotel of the property began booking reservations in anticipation of the October opening.

The resort cost $440 million to create and will feature 170 luxury rooms along with 31 guest suites. The property includes Las Vegas style gaming as well as multiple dining options, live music and entertainment.

Once open, the new Hard Rock casino will be the 12th in operation for the brand. The venue marks the first time Hard Rock has operated in the state of California.
