American casino and hotel operator Hard Rock International has announced the signing of an agreement that will see it build a new real-money online casino offering in partnership with iGaming solutions innovator Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) Incorporated.
Orlando-headquartered Hard Rock International has been owned by the federally-recognized Seminole Tribe of Florida since 2007. Its gaming establishments include the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tampa and the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood as well as the soon-to-premiere Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Atlantic City.
“Hard Rock [International] has an ambitious plan to become a global leader in the international online gaming space,” read a Monday statement from Kresimir Spajic, Online Gaming Senior Vice-President for Hard Rock International. “We are confident that, together with GIG Incorporated, we can disrupt the market through product innovation and unique user experience.”
For its part, Oslo-listed GIG Incorporated runs the iGamingCloud.com platform and recently began the application process for an online casino license with the New Jersey Casino Control Commission. The Malta-based firm explained that the deal with Hard Rock International calls for it to design and supply a ‘state-of-the-art digital consumer portal’ as well as a back-end platform to manage operations with the whole operation due to go live before the end of the year.
“We are excited to be part of Hard Rock International’s inspiring and innovative plans to become a global leader in the international online gaming space,” read a statement from Robin Reed, Chief Executive Officer for GIG Incorporated. “The online casino will be a stand-out product with the sizzle of the Hard Rock music, entertainment and lifestyle brand.”
In related news, Monday moreover saw Hard Rock International announce the signing of an agreement that will see it utilize the Greentube Pro marketing platform in order to power all of the social casino offerings attached to its Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming-branded properties throughout North America.
Hard Rock International proclaimed that the deal inked with the Greentube online and mobile software technologies subsidiary of Austrian gambling giant Novomatic is to see every one of the social online casinos for its many properties ‘powered by customized frameworks’ that have been ‘developed specifically’ before being integrated into the venues’ ‘distinctive business strategies and requirements’.
“Continual customer engagement is important to casino operators who can maximize marketing opportunities as part of the social games,” read a separate statement from Spajic. “Our goal is to deliver one-of-a-kind immersive experiences and we believe this game will allow us to unite the online and offline experiences that the Hard Rock and Seminole Casino brands offer.”
