Back in March 2014, the Hawaiian Gardens Casino started a $90 million renovation and major expansion project, which now nears its completion. Therefore, on Tuesday the operator announced the soft opening of the upgraded facility and expressed hopes to provide “even more jobs and financial support” to local citizens.

The improved Gardens Casino should be ready to open its doors to customers later in 2016 and it will offer “elevated gaming and dining experience” as well as a brand-new venue with new table games, over 220 flat-screen TVs, a new events centre and enhanced amenities. Visitors will get a chance to enjoy local wine, handcrafted cocktails and more than 24 California craft beers in the luxurious bar and lounge, whereas fine dining specialties will be offered in the restaurant with capacity for over 100 guests.

However, the main point of interest to gambling enthusiasts is the exquisite 200,000 square-foot facility where they will be able to enjoy approximately 100 card tables; with this addition, the total capacity of the Gardens Casino will reach 300 tables. Furthermore, the building will feature a large events and meeting space for hosting both private and public happenings.

Ron Sarabi, general manager of The Gardens Casino, pointed out that the expansion has been initially designed for the guests, whose number was constantly growing. Sarabi added that the new casino would provide visitors “with a truly elevated experience” thanks to the two designated VIP areas, top notch card tables and a diverse restaurant within the new building. The manager of the property concluded his statement by saying that The Gardens Casino valued its “strong working relationship with the City of Hawaiian Gardens,” revealing intentions to add 400 new jobs to its current personnel of over 1,800 employees.
