The International Gaming Awards (IGA) took place in London at the Savoy last week, awarding several top companies for their innovative work in the gaming industry. Brands were recognized for having a positive impact via several categories of awards. For two years running, William Hill has been named the Sports Betting Operator of the Year.
Continued Excellence:
With the Sports Betting Operator of the Year award, the winning operator is recognized for their ability to lead the field, not just in customer numbers, but also for the originality of betting via mobile and tablet customers. The award-winner is also recognized for offering a high level of customer services, including telephone service, marking of their product online, growth and usability.
William Hill has shown they can do all of this and more. Patrick Jonker, CEO of Mr Green Ltd, MD William Hill International, stated that 2020 could now have started in a better way with the company earning the win. The CEO pointed out that their main gaming brand, Mr Green had won the EGR Nordics Awards Operator of the Year just a few days before their main sports betting brand, William Hill won the IGA Award.
According to a press release…
Mr. Jonker commented on the win stating: “This shows how well positioned we are with two strong brands across our product offer. I could not be prouder of our teams, and I feel very excited knowing we have a great plan in place for 2020.”
Yggdrasil Wins Innovator of the Year:
Another top operator who was honored during the International Gaming Awards was Yggdrasil Gaming. This was the fourth consecutive year that Yggdrasil earned the title of Innovator of the Year.
