Las Vegas-based developer and supplier of luxury electronic table gaming products, Interblock, recently announced that it had appointed Rob Friedl as Vice President of Sales, Corporate Accounts. Working from Reno, Nevada, Friedl will be charged with overseeing management and sales operations with a focus on US corporate operators, according to the press release.

Friedl has more than 16 years of business development and sales management experience, having most recently served as Senior Account Executive for Konami Gaming, where he managed multi-million dollar territories selling software, hardware and service solutions. Prior to his work at Konami, Friedl worked for JCM Global as Territory Sales Manager. There he managed upwards of 160 accounts and was a key member in the opening of the firm’s new Reno, NV branch office.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO of Interblock, John Connelly, said, “We are excited to welcome Rob to the Interblock team. His breadth and depth of industry knowledge and his incredible track record will make him a fantastic asset to Interblock.”

Prior to his entry into the gaming industry, Friedl reportedly served as a Merck & Co. Professional Representative II, where he was a five-time recipient of the Award for Excellence for outstanding sales performance and for outstanding sales within the company, and for the highest sales achievement was honored with the Vice President’s Club Award in 2003. Additionally, in 2007 and 2010, he received JCM Global’s Sales Manager of the Year.
