Global gaming operator and lottery solutions innovator, Intralot SA, has announced the signing of a ten-year deal that is to see the Croatian State Lottery utilize its Lotus10 platform for the operation of some 3,000 terminals.

Wide-ranging deal:

The Athens-listed firm used an official Wednesday press release to detail that the agreement will also involve the state-licensed lottery organization, which is known locally as Hrvatska Lutrija, use its Player Pulse CRM interactive gaming platform for the support of numerous verticals as well as its Canvas cross-channel content management system.

Finally, the Greek firm explained that the lottery operator is to employ the retailer management system of its Player Pulse CRM platform along with a full subset of respective software components while taking advantage of a dedicated training and knowledge transfer program that is to include support, operational and software maintenance activities.

Lottery firm on the rise:

Intralot SA stated that the Croatian State Lottery has ‘a long and successful tradition of 45 years in organizing games of chance in Croatia’ including the EuroJackpot multi-jurisdictional lottery game and last year generated stakes in excess of €150 million ($173.5 million).

Compensation to be based on results:

Nikos Nikolakopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer for Intralot SA, revealed that the partnership was inked following a competitive bidding process and will furthermore see his firm compensated via a pre-negotiated split based on the Croatian operator’s ultimate gross gaming revenues.

Operator hoping to ‘grow significantly’:

For his part, Mario Musa, President for Hrvatska Lutrija, proclaimed that his enterprise is considered a ‘most responsible gaming organizer’ with the partnership set to ‘fully cover’ all of its ‘business requirements and operational procedures’ as it looks to ‘grow significantly in the upcoming years.’
