Leading online gaming solutions supplier and operator, INTRALOT, recently announced that it had inked a 10-year supply contract worth an estimated $340 million with the Illinois State Lottery.
The multi-year contract with Camelot Illinois LLC will see the INTRALOT Group USA venture provide the Lottery with a full suite of end-to-end systems and innovative system solutions through October 2027 and install their technology in over 7,500 retail locations across Illinois, according to the company press release.
These services will be provided by INTRALOT in keeping with the Private Management Agreement (PMA) held between the State of Illinois, the Department of the Lottery and CAMELOT Illinois LLC, with a planned transition of INTRALOT services in December 2018.
Via the deal, the company will roll out the next generation of Photon terminals, a clerk-operated lottery terminal, along with a compact ticket checker and a player-operated terminal called the WinStation 30 (Win30). The groundbreaking technology introduces the Illinois market to the first 30-bin dispensing machine, which is activated by players via a touchscreen.
Announcing the deal, INTRALOT Inc. CEO, John Donahue, stated: “We are delighted to have been awarded this long-term contract to serve the State of Illinois and CAMELOT Illinois. We have been a successful technology partner with Camelot elsewhere in the world, and together we will prove to be the right combination for the State of Illinois Lottery”.
