Prominent online casino operator, Kindred Group, has reiterated its commitment to responsible gambling practices by sponsoring the addition of four Scandinavian languages into the free-to-use Gambling Therapy mobile app.

Four new languages:

According to an official Tuesday press release from Kindred Group, the Gambling Therapy innovation was previously available in six languages including English, Italian, German and French but now offers its range of problem gambling avoidance tips and tools in Swedish, Finnish, Danish and Norwegian.

Helping gamblers to remain in control:

Previously known as Unibet Group until a 2016 name-change, the company is responsible for numerous online casino and sports wagering domains including StanJames.com, 32Red.com, Unibet.co.uk and MariaCasino.co.uk. The Malta-headquartered operator revealed that it helped to develop the mobile app in partnership with international support charity Gambling Therapy so as to help to help aficionados remain in control of their gambling.

Take a break:

Stockholm-listed Kindred Group advised players to take a break if gambling stops being fun while its Integrity and Player Sustainability Research Head, Maris Bonello, declared that she is ‘very happy’ to see the Gambling Therapy advance made available in additional languages.

Bonello’s statement read…

“It is at the heart of Kindred Group to provide a safe and secure environment for our customers and we will continue to support projects that minimize the harm caused by gambling.”

Innovation to ‘reach more people’:

For her part, Adele Duncan, Chief Executive for Gambling Therapy, stated that she is ‘delighted’ to have been able to work with Kindred Group to enhance and further develop her organization’s innovative app in order to ‘reach more people who may be affected by their gambling.’

Duncan’s statement read…

“Our Gambling Therapy service is funded by the gambling industry outside of Great Britain and without their support we would not be able to expand the app usage.”
