In an effort to further grow its presence in South America, slot machine and casino management systems innovator Konami Gaming Incorporated has named Atlantic Ventures as its exclusive distributor for the nations of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Las Vegas-based Konami Gaming Incorporated, which is a subsidiary of Japanese giant Konami Holdings Corporation, explained that Atlantic Ventures is led by Norma Da Silva, who it described as “a long-recognized authority in gaming product for Latin American markets” that has provided regional operators with her “strategic gaming product knowledge and market expertise” for nearly 20 years in order to assist in expanding their businesses.

Konami Gaming Incorporated declared that Buenos Aires-based Atlantic Ventures will provide it with “strong support” as it continues to grow its gaming technology presence throughout the three nations.

“Konami Gaming Incorporated is pleased to welcome Atlantic Ventures to its exclusive network of distributors,” read a statement from Eduardo Aching, International Sales Vice-President for Konami Gaming Incorporated. “We anticipate a significant benefit for our customers and look forward to a continued strengthening of Konami Gaming Incorporated’s position in the region as a result of Norma Da Silva’s keen leadership and service-driven approach.”

The Nevada firm, which is responsible for the innovative Synkros gaming enterprise management system, referred to the deal as a “key partnership for Latin American market sales” and stated that Da Silva’s casino experience includes “a depth of knowledge in international gaming distribution and slot operations”.
