English Premier League team Burnley FC has inked a deal with British online and land-based sports betting and gaming operator Ladbrokes that will see it become the professional football club’s official UK betting partner.
Via the three-year deal, the London-based bookmaker will also assume sponsorship of the away end after the club and David Fishwick parted ways earlier this summer. The partnership will also see matchday betting services at the 21,401, all-seated Turf Moor be provided by Ladbrokes, according to the Lancashire Telegraph. And allow the multi-channel UK gaming brand a prominent presence on Burnley’s social media channels, website and LED advertising on the football stadium’s giant screen.
The partnership deal also allows supporters to access exclusive offers and promotions from Ladbrokes throughout the season. Promotions will reportedly include various ‘money-can’t-buy’ experiences like tickets and training ground visits.
Commercial Director for Burnley, Anthony Fairclough, said the football club is extremely excited to announce the partnership deal, which through Ladbrokes will create new experiences for the fans, as well as some exciting offers during the upcoming season.
Fairclough said: “We look forward to welcoming Ladbrokes and not only will it involve major exposure at Turf Moor, it will see a full betting service offered to fans through the concourses, as well as their branding on the Cricket Field Stand, which was previously sponsored by David Fishwick.” The commercial director also went on the record to thank David Fishwick “for his long-term support and commitment to the club in many years he has sponsored the stand and hope that continues.”
Jessica Bridge, Head of Public Relations for Ladbrokes, said: “We are very excited at Ladbrokes to be forming this dynamic partnership with Burnley Football Club as another enthralling Premier League season gets underway. Bridge went on to wish the team’s manager, players and fans luck in the upcoming season.
