Former Chief Executive Officer of NEKTAN PLC, Leigh Nissim, has been named the new Managing Director of B2B operations at Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ: SGMS). With his base in London, England, Nissim will be responsible for oversight of the Company’s SG Universe and Remote Game Server (“RGS”) businesses, as announced today by the Las Vegas-based global lottery and gaming products and services innovator.

In addition to a wealth of online gaming experience, Nissim brings to his new role proven expertise and success in forging new partnerships and overseeing sales, product strategy, operations, marketing, account management and new market launches.

Prior to holding the CEO position for B2B mobile gaming solutions and services provider NEKTAN PLC, Nissim served as Interactive Global Commercial Director for International Game Technology (IGT) PLC (NYSE:IGT). His responsibilities at the London-based IGT included oversight of business strategy, marketing and product direction. Nissim has also held other top positions in the online gaming industry.

Nassim attended The University of Birmingham in Birmingham, England where he holds degrees in Business and French. He said, “I’m delighted to join Scientific Games at an exciting time. The Interactive business has positive momentum, and I’m looking forward to leading the teams across our global business to contribute to the Company’s continued growth and success,” according to the news release.

Nassim takes over for Jordan Levin, who has been on the Interactive leadership team at Scientific Games since 2012. Levin will move on to drive key strategic initiatives for the company and focus fully on mergers and acquisitions and corporate development.
