Online casino players will soon have a new option when it comes to table games and online slot play with the launch of LetsBet.com next year. The new online gaming site is set to launch in early 2018, offering a social atmosphere, featuring live streaming and player gamification utilities.

In speaking with CalvinAyre.com recently, LetsBet.com’s Michael Pedersen discussed the social aspect of casino gaming. When it comes to land-based gameplay, players are interested in the fun part of gaming, the socialization it provides. With online gaming, operators are now looking to recreate the same social atmosphere of land-based gaming venues, but in online form.

According to Pedersen, operators of online casinos should use live streaming to up their game. In speaking with CavinAyre, Pedersen stated the following: “So far, people are using it (live streaming) for casino dealings, so there will be some exciting stuff out there. Its social aspect, social features…there’s so much happening with Twitch.” (Twitch is a live streaming video platform owned by Amazon.com subsidiary, Twitch Interactive.)

Pedersen formerly worked for NetEnt and it appears the software provider will be offering services via LetsBet.com. Pedersen’s partner, Stefan Lind, used to work for LeoVegas AB as the operations lead and together, Pedersen feels that he and Lind can take what they have learned and combine their knowledge to be successful with LetsBet.

Little is known about the upcoming online casino, but visiting the website reveals that the company appears to be licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and will include MasterCard, Visa and Paysafecard among banking options.
