Stockholm-based B2B fantasy sports and pool betting provider, Scout Gaming Group (SCOUT:FN Stockholm), has agreed a deal to provide its daily fantasy sports platform to Spanish gambling company, Luckia.

Under the terms of the agreement, Luckia will have full access to the Swedish company’s platform, which will allow its customers a complete Daily Fantasy Sports solution. It is expected to launch the offering to coincide with the 2018 FIFA World Cup scheduled to take place in Russia, Jun 14, 2018 – Jul 15, 2018.

With more than four decades of experience, the provider has upwards of 2,500 employees and is among South America and southern Europe’s leading players. The company, whose offering of products and services includes sports betting, online gambling, casinos, bingo, game rooms and slot machines in bars and restaurants, enjoys a strong market presence throughout Spain, Portugal, Columbia, Chile and Croatia.

Chief Executive officer for Scout Gaming, Andreas Ternström, said, “Luckia is among the bigger operators in for us very attractive markets. They will bring additional liquidity to our sport network was well as they will widen Scout Gaming geographical markets further. They have an extended history of providing games both in physical form and online and I’m honored that they have chosen our product,” according to the news release.

The deal with Luckia will strengthen Scout Gaming’s liquidity network, which according to the news release, is currently comprised of, or will include, Betsson, 1XBet, Nordic Leisure, Bethard, ComeOn, Go Fantasy, PAF, Starpick and Fanteam. The last four operators mentioned have gone live with Scout Gaming’s Daily Fantasy Sports product, including payment suppliers.

Also commenting on the agreement, Online Director for Luckia, Jaume Moragues, said that they are “very happy” to have reached an agreement with Scout Gaming and that they look forward to adding the fantasy game to its existing portfolio and starting a “successful business partnership with them.”
