This month, the Babylon Casino located at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf will play host to a new tournament ahead of the 2017 Boyaa Poker Tour Macau Finals. The finals begin on October 28th, but before the five-day event starts, Macau Billionaire Poker will be offering a new event titled the MBP 50K Fall Classic. This event will be hosted on the 25th and the 26th of October.

A press release was provided by the organizers of the two events, with Andrew Bonar, the Macau Billionaire Poker representative stating that the group has seen quite a bit of interest during the Summer Showdown for the 50K event and believes the event offers value for players. GGRAsia reported that organizers have stated the new event should become a yearly one based on statements from organizers.

After the new tournament is concluded, the 2017 BPT Macau Finals will begin, having been organized by Boyaa Interactive International Ltd. The Finals will start on October 28th and continue until November 1st. An HKD6 million prize pool will be on offer, which is equivalent to $768,137 in US dollars. The final 200 players will cash out during the event with first place earning HKD1.2 million.

The Macau Legend Development Ltd. operates the Casino Babylon, where the venue’s poker room is run by Macau Billionaire Poker. The poker room is gaining in popularity with Macau Billionaire Poker having recently signed an agreement with the Asia Poker tour to host at least two events a year in Macau for a period of five years.
